The Volunteer Weekly Newsletter (May 14, 2008) is online.
Note: Information for people using Yahoo for email is in this week's newsletter)

More than 200 caring, dedicated volunteers are needed annually to meet the increasing requests for assistance created by the HIV epidemic. Share your own talents and interests by choosing from over two dozen positions with on-going or time-limited commitments. To find out how you can help, visit the HIV Alliance's volunteer opportunities page.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you can also contact Amy Allen, Volunteer Coordinator, at (541) 342-5088 ext. 116.

New volunteers can view openings using this link: View volunteer opportunities for this organization (page will open in separate browser window).

*Annual TB testing is required for all client-related positions. Other legal and/or training requirements will be noted where appropriate. Positions listed may or may not have openings.

If you are interested in volunteering with HIV Alliance, please read and fill out the Volunteer Application. If you are under the age of 18 please fill out the Parental Consent form in addition to the volunteer application.

If you are interested in volunteering for work in direct service with clients (Level 2 volunteering) the following are required reading for volunteers who attend Level 2 training in April.

Contact Amy Allen, Volunteer and Education Coordinator, volunteer@hivalliance.org
342-5088 ext. 116 if you are interested in Level 2 volunteering.
