Dental Program

The Oregon Rural Alliance of Dental Leadership or "ORAL" is a comprehensive dental clinic created through a partnership of three Lane County agencies. This clinic is funded through a 5 year grant from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).

About the Dental Clinic:

  • The dental clinic is housed at Lane Community College's Dental Hygiene school
  • The staff including the dentist, hygienist, and assistants are employees of the Community Health Center of Lane County.

  • HIV Alliance provides case management to people living with HIV in Lane County and networks with case managers in the 14 other counties served by this grant.

  • In the 5 years of this grant, people living with HIV in 15 southern counties in Oregon will have access to comprehensive dental care.

  • To provide services to counties within a reasonable distance from Lane County we will provide transportation to the clinic housed at Lane Community College.

Target population:

  • People living with HIV in the 15 southern counties of Oregon

  • This vast geographical area exceeds 63,000 square miles

Preventative Care:

  • We provide cleanings, fluoride treatments and other preventative care on a regular basis.

Restorative Care:

  • We also provide restorative care including fillings and root canals.

Denture and bridge work:

  • On-site specialist provides denture and bridge work by appointment.

We will be able to provide you all of the services you would receive at any other dental clinic at no cost to you.
