Board of Directors

The HIV Alliance Board of Directors is made up of dedicated individuals who care deeply about our mission and volunteer their time and talents in overseeing our organization. The board consists up to 21 community members that are elected for three-year terms. Board members can renew for one additional 3 year term. They provide program and fiscal oversight, as well as hire and evaluate the Executive Director. The Board of Directors also chair and serve on board committees and task forces with nonboard volunteers.

Board Committees

Each board member serves on one or more board committees with other members of the community. The standing board committees are:

Executive
Development & Education (comprise of 11 Task Forces)
Governance
Budget and Finance
Program Planning

Other committees are developed for short term projects.
